The planes are due to become available in 2015, and the deal is the largest number of commercial aircraft ordered in history.[46] The deal was worth $18 billion at list prices, although it is likely that AirAsia would have gotten a substantial discount from those prices.[47] Singapore based analyst Shukor Yusof said the deal had the potential to rival American Southwest Airlines and make Air Asia the world's biggest low cost aircraft carrier.[47][48] The deal makes AirAsia Airbus' single biggest customer.[48]"
